Ballyduff Silver BandBallyduff Silver Band has members from all walks of life. Their daily roles range from accountants, computer analysts, teachers, engineers and several students. The band personnel changes from time to time but the core of the band has remained consistent for a number of years.
The ConductorThe band’s conductor, Mr William Hill joined the band in January 1987. He is Head of Music in Glengormley High School. He studied trumpet with Bob Jenner at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. While studying in Glasgow he played with a number of Championship section bands. He completed his studies at the University of Ulster. Mr Hill has played with the 55th Old Boys (Belfast) and also with the very successful Killycoogan Accordion Band where he was Assistant Conductor. Return from The Band to Homepage
